2022年 ISPA ヤングマリナープログラムの国内で予定している二つのコース（帆船 「みらいへ」 コース 7/25-29、及びキールボートコース 8/1-5）では、本国から避難して来られている方を中心に在日ウクライナ人の若者を招待し、日本人、あるいは他の国からの外国人とシーマンシップトレーニングをベースにしたプログラムを通して交流し、互いに刺激し合い、友情を育む中で、参加の若者がともに成長してくれるよう準備を進めています。

Support Status for the Young Mariners Program inviting Ukrainians in Japan
Ukrainian youth living in Japan, mainly evacuees from their home countries, will be invited to the two ISPA Young Mariners Program courses to be held in Japan, MIRAIE Tall Ship Course (July 25 thru 29) and Keelboat course (August 1 thru 5), to participate in and interact with Japanese and those from other countries. ISPA Japan is preparing for the program so that all the participants grow together as they interact, inspire each other and develop friendships through the program based on seamanship training.
As part of this effort, ISPA Japan is conducting a crowdfunding project, as reported in the NEWS on May 30, 2022, to seek support widely https://readyfor.jp/projects/ISPA-Japan. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all of those who have supported us so far.
We are pleased to announce that International Sail and Power Academy, INC (ISPA) of Canada has donated over JPY1,000,000 to help us achieve the objectives of the program.
This donation, together with others through crowdfunding and ISPA Japan events, will be carefully used to ensure the success of the ISPA Young Mariners Program with Ukrainian youth and to ensure that all participants leave the program with smiles on their faces.
